Marseille - a nice surprise
Back to the city again. And what a city. Crammed between mountains and the blue ( oh so blue.. even in winter) Mediterranean Sea. Hills abound along with crammed streetscapes.

After lots of time in land with the 'only' water being rivers it was time to see the sea. Even growing up in Warrnambool was hardly preparation for a cool breeze during a cold snap in Marseille.

Arles
Back to small town life. Famous for the time van Gogh spent there and housing many artisan workshops, Arles is a new experience for us. The weather brought out our beanies: a new one for Gail and Tasmanian one for Brian. We aren't much for selfies, but here is an attempt.
